Another Great Reason to Move to Langley, BC
We’ve always known Langley is a fabulous place to call home. With scenic mountain views, the great Fraser River, ample gorgeous BC countryside, and only 40 minutes out of downtown Vancouver, Langley draws a lot of new residents every year. Many of our clients have chosen Langley to call home!
Langley is “the fastest growing municipality in the Metro Vancouver area with a population projected to double from its current 121,727 by the year 2040. The average annual household income is $120,000 and the median age is a youthful 40” – reported in this BC Business article.
Fun fact – Langley is actually made up of 2 separate municipalities: Langley Township which is the larger of the 2 and encircles Langley City. There has been talk of amalgamation for years but we’ll save that conversation for another day. The Langley Events Centre located on the main thoroughfare of 200 Street, is literally the centre of town and hosts many of the city’s main events as well as it is the official home of the Vancouver Giants Hockey Team!
Langley now has been ranked amongst the Top 7 Intelligent Communities for 2021 by the International Intelligent Community Forum (ICF).
